Here’s another addition to my ‘Simplistic Movie Posters’ project.

I forgot all about these when I blogged my last Arctic Monkeys post, but here’s two promotional type pieces I actually made before the minimal posters. The first one is obviously advertising their album ‘Suck It and See’, while the second is basically just an idea I got from a poster I saw for the film ‘The Social Network’.

For those of you that don’t know, I’m a huge Arctic Monkeys fan! Their music always seems to get my creative juices flowing, and on the run-up to the release of their latest album ‘Suck It and See’ I decided to start a little minimal poster project dedicated to a selection of their songs (past and present). As you’ll notice, I’ve only actually made three so far, but I hope to continue the series and create at least a couple more sometime in the near future.

Title says it all. I have more planned, so keep your eyes peeled!

Nothing too fancy and yet again, these are something I put together a few months ago. I didn’t start them with an idea of what I’d like as an outcome or anything, I was just having a random play around basically. The one on the left was inspired by a ‘Clash of the Titans’ poster I saw, and the one the right was made using an old text logo I made years ago and then I just added a background to it. Will update with recent stuff soon!
