I forgot all about these when I blogged my last Arctic Monkeys post, but here’s two promotional type pieces I actually made before the minimal posters. The first one is obviously advertising their album ‘Suck It and See’, while the second is basically just an idea I got from a poster I saw for the film ‘The Social Network’.

For those of you that don’t know, I’m a huge Arctic Monkeys fan! Their music always seems to get my creative juices flowing, and on the run-up to the release of their latest album ‘Suck It and See’ I decided to start a little minimal poster project dedicated to a selection of their songs (past and present). As you’ll notice, I’ve only actually made three so far, but I hope to continue the series and create at least a couple more sometime in the near future.

So, I recently opened up a forum called SooperCinema, which is for fellow movie goers, DVD collector’s, gamers, artists etc. to discuss anything they like basically. Although it is mainly aimed at collector’s and film fans, but please don’t let that put you off! I’m clearly rubbish at attempting to “sell” stuff to people, so I’ll quit with the banter and just cut to the chase.

Oh, but there is one thing I almost forgot to mention that may attract some of you… we do occasional competitions/giveaways on there. Obviously there hasn’t been many of them yet, as we’ve only been open for about a week.
